I work with athletes and high-performing individuals who want to strengthen their mental game, manage pressure more effectively, and perform with confidence when it matters most. My approach blends evidence-based mental performance training with clinical support to help athletes not only perform better in their sport, but feel more grounded, resilient, and supported off the field as well!
I grew up as a football coach’s kid, surrounded by student-athletes and coaches from a young age, making the work that I do very personal. I saw firsthand the long hours, expectations, and pressure placed on both athletes and coaches at high levels of competition. While the world often viewed athletes primarily through performance and results, I learned to see them as humans first. That perspective shaped my desire to work in this field and continues to guide my work today.
I specialize in working with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes navigating performance anxiety, confidence concerns, burnout, depression, and the mental demands of competitive sport. Together, we focus on developing skills that support both sustainable performance and overall wellbeing.
My theoretical approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strong emphasis on mindfulness-based mental performance work. Sessions often include training attention, practicing emotional regulation skills, and building confidence strategies that athletes can apply directly in practice, competition, and everyday life. My work is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the unique demands of each athlete and sport, with a focus on real-world application.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with approximately five years of experience working with athletes and young adults in both clinical and performance settings. I currently also work in a university athletics environment, supporting student-athletes across a wide range of sports.
I believe mental skills are trainable and that performance and mental health do not have to be treated separately!
